Cherokee Park
We redeveloped this space into a functional, multi-level outdoor living area through strategic grading and the installation of a custom retaining wall system. The project included landscape lighting, a patio extension, irrigation conversions, artificial turf installation, and the addition of a large specimen palm to create a cohesive tropical environment. What was once a steep, underutilized slope was transformed into a clean, usable backyard retreat designed for both aesthetics and everyday enjoyment.
North Drive
This new construction landscape project included complete irrigation installation, landscape design, planting, sod installation, and final landscape buildout. We transformed the bare construction lot into a polished, fully established outdoor environment that complements the architecture of the home while creating a clean, welcoming streetscape.
Laurel Park
This canal-front backyard renovation focused on solving major drainage and usability issues in a heavily shaded outdoor space. We regraded the property and created a natural drainage solution designed to move stormwater efficiently toward the canal, helping prevent standing water and backyard flooding during heavy rains. The project was completed with artificial turf installation, transforming what was once a muddy, underutilized area into a clean, functional, and low-maintenance outdoor space for the family to enjoy year-round.
Peregrine Point
This front entry renovation transformed a heavily shaded landscape that had become overgrown with dense ferns, hiding the architectural beauty of the home and struggling with poor soil conditions and constant mulch washout during heavy rains. We redesigned the space into a layered, multi-tiered landscape featuring a balance of lush tropical and low-light plantings that thrive beneath the mature oak canopy. A natural tumbled retaining wall system was incorporated to help contain mulch, manage rainwater runoff, and stabilize the planting areas. The result was an immediate improvement in curb appeal with a cleaner, more intentional landscape design that complements the home while remaining functional and sustainable.
Dolphin Shores
This complete waterfront landscape renovation transformed an outdated property into a clean coastal-modern outdoor environment in Nokomis. The project included full landscape design, removal and replacement of aging pavers, irrigation system upgrades, and a complete reimagining of the property’s layout and planting design. We incorporated mature palms, clusia hedging, Mexican beach pebble, and a variety of salt-tolerant coastal plantings selected to thrive in the waterfront environment. The addition of architectural landscape lighting brought the entire property to life at night, creating a dramatic yet refined coastal aesthetic that elevated both curb appeal and outdoor living.
Goldenrod
This coastal landscape conversion transformed a traditional turf yard into a modern, low-maintenance outdoor living space designed for both functionality and entertaining. Existing grass areas were removed and replaced with a drought-tolerant xeriscape design featuring native grasses, agaves, boulders, and clean architectural elements that complement the home’s coastal aesthetic. The project also included artificial turf pathways, landscape lighting, and a full reconfiguration of the backyard layout to maximize usable outdoor space while reducing long-term water usage and maintenance demands.
Tulip Street
This property transformation focused on replacing a struggling, high-maintenance lawn with a clean and durable xeriscape design better suited for the home and environment. The project included irrigation upgrades, driveway expansion, and the installation of drought-tolerant plantings designed for long-term sustainability and reduced maintenance. We carefully matched the new hardscape materials to the home’s existing pavers, creating a seamless, cohesive appearance while dramatically improving curb appeal and functionality.

What was once a traditional cottage-style landscape requiring extensive upkeep was transformed into a contemporary coastal xeriscape designed for beauty, simplicity, and long-term sustainability. The renovation incorporated native and low-maintenance plantings, layered with multiple textures of beach pebble, gravel, and mulch to create a refined yet relaxed aesthetic that fits naturally within the character of the quaint neighborhood.
